Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

The Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) has been approved as a Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) charity for the sixth consecutive year. This designation enables SCV members, their family members, and other friends of the organization who are employed by the federal government to donate a portion of their charitable giving to our organization.

Information contained in the Gray Line is for use by all members. Commanders are encouraged to copy those items which directly affect their membership into their camp newsletters, or to include the Gray Line in its entirety as a part of your newsletters. Communication throughout the organization is very important and the Gray Line offers us a means to provide members with the most up-to-date information on many different topics.

Sons of Confederate Veterans Latest to Become an Affinity4 Partner

Affinity4 (Norfolk, VA) is now partnering with the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV, Columbia, TN), an organization dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of the citizen-soldiers who fought for the Confederacy during the War Between the States. Funds generated through the Affinity4 partnership will enable SCV to continue its wide range of programs and services including historic programs at approximately 860 local camps in cities and towns nationwide.

Virginia Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling and Attorney General Bob McDonnell each recently released statements honoring Generals Lee and Jackson in recognition of the Lee-Jackson state holiday in the commonwealth. We’ve reproduced the statements below for your enjoyment. It’s nice to know that political correctness has not seized the moral fortitude of all elected officials in the land.
